Telia to supply global high capacity network to Ericsson
Telia to supply global high capacity network to Ericsson Telia International Carrier has signed a multi million 3-year frame agreement with Ericsson for the delivery of a global high capacity network. The contract has immediate validity. A first delivery will take place in April 2001. In the agreement, Ericsson purchases a global high capacity network during a three-year period. The delivered network supplies Ericsson with internal global Internet and telephony connections. "Ericsson is an advanced customer with high set claims for service and quality", says Lars Rydin, CEO of Telia International Carrier. "We offered a complete solution that matched their needs, that's why we received the order." Through this contract Telia International Carrier becomes one of Ericssons "preferred suppliers".
