Not for distribution into the United States, Canada, Australia or Japan Telia welcomes IPO proposal Telia welcomes today's proposal by the Swedish Government that the Swedish Parliament authorises the Government to offer shares in Telia in a public offering. The Government intends to retain at least 51% of the Telia shares but the actual percentage to be sold as part of the IPO will not be decided until after the Parliament has approved the proposal. The IPO is expected to be completed by late June this year, subject to parliamentary approval and favourable market conditions.
