Worldwide famous fashion designers Dolce and Gabbana are now opening a new store in Milan, for 23 young emerging desigers.

Dolce & Gabbana have launched their first multibrand store to support emerging designers on the Via Spiga in Milan.

The new store sells accessories from the main D&G lines and features the collections of 23 other young designers. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana chose the new designers from all across the globe personally who they believe have a remarkable talent.

Spiga2 will be a permanent store and will not be replicated in any store around the world, with a strong link to Milan.

“We wanted to create a new, special place, unique in the world. With this project we give the emerging designers we have handpicked from all over the world visibility, offering them a real opportunity,” the designer duo told Vogue.

Designers include Christian Blanken, Yigal Azrouel, Sophie Theallet and more established ones including Peter Jensen and Behnaz Sarafpour.

“I'm still trying to work out how it happened. I was contacted out of the blue - it's so exciting and will hopefully give the label a real boost and an increased visibility,” Christian Blanken told Vogue.

Dolce and Gabbana’s new concept store is a unique place not just for shopping, but for young people to meet each other, go on the internet, share ideas and inspirations, have a drink at the bar or a cup of Italian espresso and participate actively in the shop. Shoppers can play their own playlist on the DJ deck, listen to music, take a break from their day and just simply hang out.
