Teollisuuden Voima Oyj issued a EUR 600 million green bond

Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO) has issued a new EUR 600 million green bond.

The seven-year bond was issued under TVO's EMTN programme. An application has been made for the bond to be admitted to trading on the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

The reoffer yield of the bond is equivalent to a 7-year Euro midswap rate of 2.836% +1.45%. The coupon is 4.25% and the issue price is 99.786%.

BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole CIB, Nordea and Swedbank acted as Joint Bookrunners for the new bond issue.

The net proceeds of the Green Bond issued by TVO will finance or refinance, in whole or in part, Eligible Green Projects in accordance with TVO’s Green Bond Framework, published in June 2023.

On 13 May 2024, TVO separately announced that it has made an invitation to holders of its outstanding EUR 500 million 2.125 percent Notes due 4 February 2025 (XS1183235644) to tender their Notes for purchase by TVO for cash. The aggregate principal amount validly offered for purchase by the noteholders was EUR 260,420,000. TVO accepted all valid instructions pursuant to the tender offer. Nordea and Swedbank acted as Joint Dealer Managers on the tender offer.
