As part of its Green Financing program, Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO) has published its first European Green Bond Standard aligned Factsheet. The Factsheet outlines the use of proceeds from the issuance of green instruments in full alignment with the European Green Bond Standard.

In 2023, TVO published its EU Taxonomy-aligned Green Bond Framework.

- This was an important step for us and showed our strong commitment to sustainable finance, says Lauri Piekkari Senior Vice President, Treasury.

- Building on that, we’ve now published our EU Green Bond Standard aligned Factsheet. This allows us to issue European green bonds and gives a clear overview of the requirements we meet to comply with the regulation, Piekkari continues.

In 2024, 99.8 per cent of the TVO group´s consolidated turnover was taxonomy aligned and 100 per cent of the taxonomy relevant CapEx and OpEx were taxonomy aligned.

The document has been reviewed and positively assessed by ISS Corporate Solutions’ pre-issuance review, confirming its compliance with the requirements of the EuGB Regulation and International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) green bond principles.

The European Green Bond Factsheet and the pre-issuance review Report are available in English on the website of TVO at TVO - Debt programmes

Danske Bank As acted as the European Green Bond Factsheet advisor in the process.
