Joel Eklund leaves role as TePe CEO to become Chairman of the Board

Swedish TePe Oral Hygiene Products announces planned succession in the management of the company. As of 1 January 2020, Joel Eklund will become Chairman of the Board and pass the role as CEO on to TePe’s current CFO Hanna Hageberg Hammar.

During Joel Eklund’s eight years as CEO, TePe has undergone tremendous development with a particular focus on sustainable and innovative solutions. Sales have more than doubled, and global expansion has continued by the establishment of sales companies in the US and Australia.

Joel Eklund says, “Considering TePe’s steady and positive progress, I find the timing of this succession appropriate. As Chairman of the Board, I will stay involved in strategic matters while leaving full operational responsibility to Hanna Hageberg Hammar.”
