Marie Nordström receives the 2019 Eklund Foundation Scholarship

The 2019 Eklund Foundation Scholarship for the promotion of odontological research is awarded to Marie Nordström. Joel Eklund, Chairman of the Eklund Foundation, delivered the scholarship of SEK 150,000 (approximately EUR 14,000) at a ceremony on 17 October.

Marie Nordström’s project, Origins of Salutogenesis among Healthy Young Adults at a Low Socioeconomic Status in Skåne is conducted at the Department of Cariology under the supervision of Gunnel Hänsel Petersson.

The scholarship was instituted to promote odontological research with a focus on oral health at the Faculty of Odontology at Malmö University and has been distributed by the Eklund Foundation since 2017.
