Sustainable Interdental Brush from TePe Awarded Product of the Year in France 2021

TePe Interdental Brushes represent a new generation of health products – high-quality dental care produced with an 80% lower carbon footprint. For this, they received the prestigious Product of the Year Award in the largest independent consumer survey in France.

The award was granted by a judging panel from Product of the Year, which assessed many products to find the best products in dental care. Voted Product of the Year is the world’s largest consumer-voted award for marketing innovation. Established in France in 1987, Voted Product of the Year currently operates in more than 45 countries around the world with the same purpose: to guide consumers to the best new products available on the market and reward industries for marketing innovation.

The TePe range of interdental brushes is developed in collaboration with the dental profession and comprises of nine colour-coded sizes for safe and efficient cleaning. By replacing fossil raw material with fossil-free pine oils in a mass balance system, the carbon footprint of TePe’s interdental brushes is reduced by 80%.

TePe France was established in 2016 as a subsidiary of TePe Oral Hygiene Products, headquartered in Sweden and founded in 1965. All TePe’s production takes place at the manufacturing plant in Malmö, Sweden, by use of 100% renewable energy. TePe aims to conduct their work in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals of Agenda 2030. All actions matter, therefore TePe encourages all users to dispose of products and packaging responsibly.
