TePe Angle™ and TePe Extra Soft Interdental Brushes – now part of the sustainable range

Report this content

Earlier this year, TePe launched TePe Interdental Brushes made from sustainable materials. By adding their Extra Soft Interdental Brushes and TePe Angle™ to the sustainable range, TePe now offers an entire interdental brush assortment with a reduced carbon footprint of approximately 80%.

“Health-minded and responsible consumers appreciate the opportunity to buy sustainable interdental brushes, and we are happy to offer them yet a range of options. By introducing a growing number of sustainable products, we also contribute to our goal of reducing our footprint and becoming carbon neutral in product and packaging in 2022”, says Helena Ossmer Thedius, Innovation & Marketing Director at TePe.

By replacing fossil raw material with fossil-free pine oils in a mass balance system, the carbon footprint of TePe’s interdental brushes is reduced by approximately 80%. To guarantee full traceability of the material and its sources, TePe and its raw material suppliers are certified by ISCC.

Daily interdental cleaning contributes to a healthy smile and prevents caries and gum disease. TePe Interdental Brushes are developed in collaboration with the dental profession, and thus recommended to consumers worldwide.

TePe’s sustainable interdental brush range comprises:

  • TePe Interdental Brush Original – nine sizes to suit every interdental space
  • TePe Interdental Brush Extra Soft – a gentler option, available in six sizes
  • TePe Angle™ – longer handle and angled brush head, available in six sizes.

All TePe’s production takes place at the manufacturing plant in Malmö, Sweden, using 100% renewable energy. Part of it comes from the company’s own rooftop solar power facility. TePe aims to conduct its work in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals of Agenda 2030. All actions matter; therefore, TePe encourages all users to dispose of products and packaging responsibly.
