TePe publishes its 2021 Sustainability Report
Oral care company TePe Oral Hygiene Products AB has now published its annual Sustainability Report, highlighting progress and improvements of 2021. The report is available at www.tepe.com.

Selected highlights from TePe Sustainability Report 2021

Phasing out fossil raw materials from production resulting in a consecutive launch of biobased products with a significantly smaller carbon footprint.

Sustained use of 100% green energy in production, supplemented by energy from TePe’s own solar power plant.

Continuous increase of sustainable materials in packaging, reaching for 100% renewable/recycled/FSC certified materials in 2025, as well as improving packaging recyclability.

A reduced footprint from transport by upscaling transition from air to sea freight.

Maintained levels of gender representation (52% female managers) as well as high levels of attendance.

Reinforced focus on knowledge sharing with record-high 24,000 participants in topical on-line and on-site TePe Share lectures.

A stronger focus on collaborations for sustainable development, such as UNOPS S3i Innovation Centre, FDI World Dental Federation, and STEPS (Sustainable Plastics and Transition Pathways).

The sustainability journey continues
Besides further improvements for the environment, including defining a goal of overall carbon neutrality, TePe will focus on continuous education and engagement of team members, customers, and consumers to enable conscious and informed choices.
