TePe’s Sustainability Report 2020 reflects the company’s high ambitions and actions for health awareness, increased circularity, and a reduced carbon footprint.

In 2020, TePe took many significant steps forward on their sustainability journey, as showed by their newly released Sustainability Report. Guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, TePe puts a special focus on reducing their carbon footprint and raising health awareness worldwide – matters of concern for both people and the planet. Some of the highlights from TePe’s Sustainability Report 2020 are:

  • Spreading awareness of oral health and its connection to general health. The dental experts of the TePe Group held 250 webinars, reaching around 13,000 participants worldwide.
  • Reducing the carbon footprint: The company set a goal of carbon neutral products and packaging in 2022. TePe’s sustainable interdental brushes, launched early 2021, have an 80% lower carbon footprint.
  • Increasing energy efficiency: TePe uses 100% renewable energy throughout production and has produced 2.8 million toothbrushes with energy from the company’s own solar power facility in 2020.
  • Increasing resource efficiency: TePe has set a goal to reach 100% renewable and/or recycled packaging materials in 2025.
