Terminix Launches Natural Pest Control Sprays for Commercial Use
Terminix has launched two eco-conscious pest control products that help give managers of commercial, institutional and industrial spaces the freedom to quickly and safely eliminate pests.
Memphis, Tenn. May 18, 2010 - Terminix has launched two eco-conscious pest control products that help give managers of commercial, institutional and industrial spaces the freedom to quickly and safely eliminate pests.
The products, called Terminix® Natural Pest Control and Terminix® Drain Fly Killer, are made with 100-percent natural active ingredients, and because of their EPA-exempt formulas, the products can be applied in some commercial areas that are normally not suitable for insecticides.
"Restrictions on pesticide use have traditionally made it more challenging to control pests in many commercial areas,” said Tom Brackett, Terminix president and chief operating officer. "Having a pest free environment is extremely important to our customers and their clients, and our new, natural products can give facility managers the ability to eliminate pests in an effective, eco-conscious way.”
Terminix® Natural Pest Control is engineered to target common pests, including ants, roaches, flies, spiders and other crawling and flying insects. Terminix® Drain Fly Killer helps eliminate these same pests and is specifically formulated to target drain and fruit flies, and to help control odors in drains and waste areas.
The environmentally-conscious pest control products come packaged in easy-to-use, non-aerosol spray bottles that are ready-to-use, with no mixing required. Both fast-acting formulas begin working on contact, and when used as directed, are safe for use in settings such as restaurants, kitchens, hospitals, day-care facilities, hotels, nursing rooms, warehouses, offices and veterinary clinics.
Terminix has teamed up with foodservice distributors to offer the new commercial pest control products, which are now available for purchase. The products will also be provided to new customers on their first service and available to existing customers for purchase. Additionally, Terminix plans to sell these products through other distribution channels in the future.
