Juha Juosila leaves Terveystalo, Kati Sulin nominated as the SVP of Digital business

Juha Juosila, the Senior Vice President responsible for the digitization of Terveystalo and a member of the Group Executive Team, has announced that he will resign 23 June 2022.

Kati Sulin, M.Sc (Econ), b. 1974, has been appointed Terveystalo's Senior Vice President, Digital Business, and a member of the Group Executive Team as of 1 September 2022. Sulin will take over from the position of Managing Director of Ifolor. Prior to Ifolor, Sulin was responsible for the digitization of the telecommunications group DNA. Prior to that she was the Vice President of Brand, Marketing and Digital Services of DNA.

It feels amazing to think about everything that has happened since I started in the beginning of 2016. Terveystalo has at least tripled in all respects and even more significantly, it has changed as a company in terms of maturity. Our team, Digitization and IT, has already grown into a software house of nearly 120 top professionals, delivering award-winning digital experiences to more than a million regular users. I am extremely proud of what our team has achieved and even more grateful that I have been able to be a part of this journey and make my own small contribution to it,” Juha Juosila says.

Digital health services are a growing part of our operations. We have multiplied the number of digital appointments and improved both access to care and productivity over the past three years. At the same time, we have developed a digital platform that is also in demand as a software service. Juha Juosila has led our digital services to the top of Europe during his six years at Terveystalo, and I would like to warmly thank Juha for his contribution to Terveystalo's journey from the provincial occupational health company to the leading private health care company in the Nordics. I wish Juha the best of luck in his future endeavors,” says Ville Iho, CEO of Terveystalo.

I warmly welcome Kati Sulin to Terveystalo. She has diverse management experience and excellent track record of digital business leadership roles. Under Kati's leadership, we will further strengthen the services of our core business and improve the scalability of our solutions internationally as well. More efficient use of health data, better care management and the use of digital appointments can improve productivity, access to care as well as job satisfaction within healthcare. Our goal is to address the chronic shortage of professionals in healthcare by finding ways to scale medical expertise, and to commercialize these solutions,” Ville Iho continues.

I am very excited to take on the demanding position of Senior Vice President, Digital Business and am really happy to be able to join Terveystalo's Executive Team. The development of the healthcare industry with the help of digital services is important for the whole society and the company has done a really good job. It is an honor to be able to continue this work with a professional and competent team,” Kati Sulin comments.
