Terveystalo dental clinic network expands - Hymiö Hammaslääkärit to become a part of Terveystalo

On 30 September 2019 Terveystalo signed an agreement to acquire Hymiö Hammaslääkärit (Hardent Oy), a private clinic that offers oral health services. The company revenue in 2018 was approximately EUR 1.5 million and it employs 7 dentists, 2 dental hygienists and 6 dental nurses and customer advisers.

“Oral health is an integral part of overall health, and oral health and oral hygiene have a significant link to disease prevention and overall well-being. Thus, oral health plays an important role in Terveystalo's service portfolio. Hymiö dentists have profiled themselves as a pioneer in the field of digital dentistry and complement our expertise in this area, ”says Petri Keksi, Director of Oral Health at Terveystalo.

“Terveystalo already offers oral health services in more than 40 locations. Our goal is to further expand our network of oral health units, ”Keksi continues.

“We warmly welcome the staff and practitioners of Hymiö Hammaslääkärit to Terveystalo. Their modern units and diverse service offering complement our network in the Kouvola and Lahti regions, ”Keksi says.

The company's employees will be transferred to Terveystalo as old employees and the operations will continue on the same premises as before in the cities of Kouvola and Lahti.
