Terveystalo subsidiary Feelgood Svenska AB has today signed an agreement to acquire Nämndemansgården, a leader in addiction treatment in the Nordic region. The acquisition is part of Feelgood's growth strategy and strengthens its offering in harmful use treatment.

“With Nämndemansgården's expertise, we can offer our customers holistic support in harmful use from preventive measures to various types of treatment throughout the care path. We have collaborated with the company for many years and been co-owners since 2017, so we are well acquainted with the business and can now develop it together,” says Joachim Morath, CEO of Feelgood.

Founded in 1987, Nämndemansgården offers recovery solutions across the entire continuum of care including counseling and education, outpatient, and inpatient treatment as well as detoxification services. The company provides services for private individuals suffering from addiction as well as their families with an aim of reducing the consequences of harmful use of addiction on alcohol, drugs, or gambling. The company also provides services to companies, municipalities, and care providers. In 2021, Nämndemansgården revenue was SEK 116.1 million. The company has 120 employees in 20 locations in Sweden and treats some 1,000 individuals annually.

“With Feelgood, we get an industry-leading owner with larger resources for development, as well as an established market position and a large customer base. Together, we can increase our pace of development and reach more companies, employees, and private individuals in need of Nämndemansgården's services,” says Martin Franklin, CEO of Nämndemansgården.

The acquisition is expected to be completed on 1 May 2022.
