The British Horse Society’s National Access Conference is being held this year at BHS Headquarters in Warwickshire on Sunday 16 October.

The conference will feature a number of speakers from professional bodies, who will talk about practical and technical matters that affect equestrian access.

Conference topics include Coastal Access, Health benefits of riding, Gates trial, Sustrans and multi-use routes and other equestrian access initiatives from the Society.

BHS Director of Access, Safety and Welfare, Mark Weston, said: “This conference will address many of the current key issues affecting equestrian access and will give our members and other equestrians the opportunity to put their views to the speakers. This is a great opportunity to come along and learn more about the issues that affect your riding.”

The conference is free to attend, but a £20 returnable deposit is required to secure your place. Booking forms are available from www.bhs.org.uk or by calling Pat Regan, Administrator (Access) on 02476 840582 or access@bhs.org.uk
