Brownstein Group Wins Gold at National American Advertising Awards

Philadelphia agency recognized for excellence in digital creative technology 

PHILADELPHIA, June 17, 2014Brownstein Group, the longest-running independent brand communications firm in Philadelphia, today announced that it has received a Gold American Advertising Award for the redesign of its website, BrownsteinGroup.com

With over 44,000 annual entries, the American Advertising Awards (formerly the ADDYs) are presented by the American Advertising Federation and considered the industry’s largest and most representative competition. Brownstein Group was awarded the honor at a ceremony in Boca Raton, FL on May 31, where companies from across the country were recognized for their creativity and exemplary work in advertising. The judging process was intense and to reach the national level entrants had to first win at a local level and then their respective regional district, of which there were 15 nationwide.

“Every department at Brownstein Group played a role in redesigning our site,” said Dan Shepelavy, Executive Creative Director at Brownstein Group. “Its creative look and feel is reflective of an agency with 50 years of experience, as well as one that’s standing on the doorstep of tomorrow. Since the website is representative of our culture, clients and creativity, winning this award is a collective validation of everything we do.”

Launched in August 2013, the all-new BrownsteinGroup.com was designed and developed completely in-house. The cornerstone of the site is its axis-style navigation with full-bleed background imagery that pays homage to the 1960s era in which the agency was founded. In addition to highlighting the agency’s full range of services and portfolio of work, the new site embodies Brownstein Group’s culture through a blend of pithy language, striking visuals and modern design.
