Partnership Joins Forces to Help People Celebrate and Life to the Fullest

May 30, 2014 – Salt Lake City, UT– The Color Run today announced a new 2014 national sponsor - Shout®, the brand providing products designed to help you remove stains, protect your clothes and give you the confidence to live life to the fullest,.  Shout® will bring new elements to the event and will engage with Color Runners every step of the way through The Color Run experience.

“We are extremely excited about this new partnership and we look forward to all of the new additions that this partnership with Shout will bring to the event,” says Brittany Evans, Director of Sponsorship at The Color Run.

With no winners or official times, The Color Run celebrates healthiness, happiness, and individuality, bringing the community together to create a five-kilometer canvas of colorful fun in which thousands of participants are doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer.

Shout® has teamed up with The Color Run as a way to celebrate and help Americans find their fun again. This year, Shout® is inspiring Americans to have fun, live out loud and get a little messy too.

At races across the country, runners will receive a Shout® Color Catcher® sample upon picking up their race kits, and onsite one of the new elements that Shout® will host is the fifth color zone. Shout® will drench participants in vibrant orange and provide orange color packets for Color Runners to use during the Finish Festival.

At select races across the country, runners can stop by the Shout® tent where there will be misting station that will help lock in their color.  There they will also find the Shout 360 Color Camera that will blast runners with even more color and produce a 360 video of their messy moments at every angle that they share with their friends.

There should be no fear about getting messy at the ‘Happiest 5k on the Planet’ when the Shout® Clean Zone will be available for participants before they head home. Color Runners can stop off at the Clean Zone where they will have the excess color blown right off before they step into their cars.

Participation in, and buzz for, The Color Run has exploded since its debut in 2012 with more than 220 events being launched in 50+ countries in 2014.
