Edinburgh, 15 May 2009 – last night Arum DataEye®, the credit management dashboard application, was a runner-up at the Credit Today Awards 2009 for Best Use of Technology, Third Party Solutions. In front of an audience of 1400 credit professionals at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London, the implementation of Arum’s technology at BCW Group was judged against stiff competition from six other finalists in this category in which CallCredit was the final winner. Entrants to this category had to feature a customer, highlight how technology has helped to create competitive advantage for the customer’s business and show evidence of effective uptake of the technology by all stakeholders. BCW Group’s vision of what DataEye® could do for their operation in these areas was what drove their purchase of it and it was their experience of using DataEye® that secured its place as runner-up in this category. Since installing Arum DataEye BCW has delivered a 16% increase in card payments and currently recovers in excess of £3,000,000 in card payments monthly. There has been a 12% increase in trace productivity, with BCW concluding over 1,000,000 traces per annum, and an overall increase in company revenue of some 9%. BCW Group’s Chief Executive, Bryan Mouat, said: “DataEye provides me with a dynamic and detailed knowledge of the operation. It is powerful, galvanising and important to the strategy of our business going forward.” Aleks Tomczyk, Managing Director of Arum, commented: “Successful companies like BCW require live performance reports, not key performance indicator feedback for the previous day, week or month, as by then it may be too late to take effective action. Arum DataEye’s ability to deliver KPI data in real time gives them a real competitive edge as their results show. That makes us both doubly delighted to make the top seven in this highly competitive award category.”
