“Parents and girls are absolutely delighted with the convenience of our new school shop and the time it saves, being here on site. John Cheatle Group supported us throughout all the steps of changing all items of uniform and the girls returned in September looking extremely smart.”

New Head at Brighton & Hove High School (BHHS), Jennifer Smith, is very happy with the set-up of the school’s new, on-site shop, which incorporated a number of changes to the school uniform. The school had previously been supplied by a London-based supplier, so parents had to travel some distance for schoolwear. Now they are able to call into the school shop as part of the daily run, or during the holidays.

Business manager at BHHS, Jill Armstrong, was extensively involved with the entire process: “This was a major decision for us, as we’d never had a shop on site before. We’ve chosen a fabulous location within the school and senior girls are able to pop into the shop during break times, too. Parents are able to pay for school uniform items over the phone, once their daughters have tried them on. The interaction is terrific and it is definitely a welcome addition to the school’s facilities.”

The John Cheatle Group is the UK’s largest supplier of schoolwear to the independent schools sector. Brighton & Hove High School is part of the Girls’ Day School Trust.
