Volunteer Fundraiser Desperately Needed To Save Veteran Charity

STARTS An ex SAS veteran is desperate for help to save his charity, Talking2Minds, after running out of funding. Bob Paxman has ploughed all of his six figure savings from his work in Iraq and Afghanistan into the cause, and has resorted to selling his car – even his home is now at risk. Talking2Minds was set up by Bob in February 2009 to help alleviate symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in ex servicemen. Having suffered from PTSD for many years himself after leaving the SAS, Bob was relieved and amazed to discover a form of introspective therapy treatment and is now passionate about helping other sufferers. Nearly a year on, thousands suffering from PTSD and other stress related disorders are approaching him, but it may be the end of the line for this unique and hugely beneficial charity. Due to the phenomenal growth of the charity, Cheltenham based firm The Marketing Farm have stepped in to donate media advice, online and marketing resources and office space, but still more help is needed to save Talking2Minds and allow them continue treating the thousands of servicemen who are in desperate need of their help. It is vital that Talking2Minds find an Appeals Co-ordinator to volunteer to help them. As ex-servicemen themselves, they have neither the time nor facility to raise funds and so need someone with strong experience in the charity sector to apply their expertise, helping them to secure initial funding lines and manage fundraising events. The Marketing Farm is urging anyone who can help to call them on 01242 222878 ENDS
