VINCE MOLINARO TO BE ELECTED 48TH PRESIDENT OF THE ONTARIO HOME BUILDERS’ ASSOCIATION
Toronto September 18, 2014…Vince Molinaro will be elected President of the Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA) for 2014-2015 at the organization’s Annual Meeting of Members being held September 22, 2014 at the Ottawa Convention Centre in Ottawa.
Vince most recently served as the association’s 1st Vice President and has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2008. In addition, Vince is a Past President of the Hamilton-Halton Home Builders’ Association and has volunteered on numerous committees at the local, provincial and national level, including: the Condominium Act Committee, Land Development Committee, Tarion Liaison Committee, Nominations Committee and is currently the Ontario representative to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association.
With over 25 years of experience in the residential construction industry, Vince began his career as a teenager, through his father’s builder/development company who built homes/condos in the GTA and Hamilton-Halton. Vince is now President of the Molinaro Group, a condominium and corporate building company with roots in Hamilton and operating in Burlington. The Molinaro Group has been involved in the development and construction of over 10,000 residential units and one million sq. ft. of commercial development throughout Southern Ontario.
An attendee of Mohawk College, Vince is very involved in the community along with the team at the Molinaro Group. Most recently, the Molinaro Group presented Burlington’s Joseph Brant Hospital with a cheque for $1 million and were the presenting sponsor of the hugely popular Burlington Rib Fest, held on the city’s waterfront each Labour Day Weekend.
