The Parts Alliance’s new website illustrates amazing growth
The Parts Alliance has launched a new company website, as the rapidly evolving group seeks to further elevate the visibility of its brands within the UK aftermarket.
The UK and Ireland’s largest trading group of parts distributors, who promise to blend ‘local service, national strength’, have aimed to deliver comprehensive information about the business. A wide variety of stakeholders including suppliers, motor factor members, national accounts – not to mention a vast independent garage customer base - are reminded of some impressive numbers.
Since founding in 1999, The Parts Alliance has grown to over 6,500 employees, stock holding now covers 100,000 lines and there’s a delivery fleet of over 3,500 delivery vehicles supporting a total network of over 200 branches, contributing to a total turnover of over £475 million.
The site showcases the many brands involved within the business. At member level this includes eight owned business (an acquisition trail begun in 2012 when HgCapital acquired CES) as well as a further five associate members.
The ‘Our Brands’ section also logically groups ‘Garage Solutions’ which include online parts catalogue and technical information system Allicat, garage programme Servicesure and the GS Onestop garage management system.
Meanwhile ‘Product Ranges’ helpfully explains A2A exhausts, Carmour car care, the fast-growing Angry Jester range of tools and equipment as well as an extensive DriveTec hard parts range that offers competitively priced ‘matching quality’ products in a wide range of categories including braking, clutch, wheel bearing kits, wiper blades and batteries.
Other site sections include media resources, careers as well as information on the group’s history, governance and leadership.
“The Parts Alliance is evolving fast and the website brings the story right up to date,” said Simon Moore, Head of Marketing. “The site’s visuals feature lots of the people that are absolutely at the heart of what we do whilst there’s comprehensive information on the business benefits we can bring to forward-thinking independent garages too.”
