Discover your summer style at The Rock
The Rock in Bury are inviting customers to discover their summer style with a week of fashion and beauty at their Style Your Summer event. From free style advice to complimentary beauty treatments and fashion shows, there’s something for all fashion lovers as well as the chance to win a £250 shopping spree.
From Tuesday 31st May to Saturday 4th June customers are invited to visit the pop up Beauty Lounge and Style Clinic within a marquee at The Rock every day from 11am–4pm. Shoppers can visit the Beauty Lounge for complimentary treatments including mini-manicures, make-up and hair styling, while the Style Clinic offers free appointments with industry experts who have worked on TV shows such as This Morning and 10 Years Younger. Shoppers can learn how to style their shape with a high profile fashion stylist or visit a colour consultant to discover what shades are on trend this season. There will also be additional activities each day such as a Body Scanner which will give users a print out of their exact body measurements and a Colour Wheel that you can spin to see what shades suit your skin tone. On Saturday 4thof June the five day event will conclude with a spectacular fashion show featuring the latest summer styles from over 12 retailers such as Topshop, Debenhams, H&M, River Island and Next. The marquee in St John’s Square will also host a spectacular street dance show from The Roc Boyz, a young dance crew who rose to fame on CBBC’s Alesha Dixon’s Street Dance Stars, as well as performances from students at the Carol Godby theatre workshop. Hopwood Hall College will be showcasing designs from their fashion and design students as part of the show.
And what’s more any customer who spends £50 or more on fashion and beauty during the Style Your Summer week can enter a draw to win a £250 shopping spree. Entry forms will be available from participating retailers at The Rock and from promotional staff all week. The £50 spend can be accumulated from a number of stores at The Rock including footwear, fashion, jewellery and beauty.
