London Calling! Tetley Tea Joins MINI USA in Cross-Country Rally
(July 2, 2012 – Montvale, NJ): Tetley USA, the quintessential British tea brand, has joined up with MINI USA in the “MINI Takes The States 2012” program, set to kick off July 4th, traveling through 16 states and stopping in 13 cities. A Tetley-wrapped MINI Countryman will drive across the country among thousands of MINI enthusiasts, and will be present at all tour stops – including games, parties, MINIcross events and more. Tetley will also follow the tour via its Facebook and Twitter pages, posting photos and updates along the way.
Tetley, the brand consumed by more British households, is a natural addition to this celebration of the iconic British car. “Tetley Tea and MINI have similar appeal,” said Marc Birnbaum, Marketing Executive at Tetley USA. “Today, both brands are part of the modern English influence in American culture. We are delighted to be a part of this unique MINI event.”
As part of the MINI Takes The States 2012 program, MINI USA, which has a partnership with the Paralympics, will be giving away a trip to the London 2012 Olympic Games. Participants can enter to win at events and functions throughout the trip.
