Nashville Auto-Diesel College to Become Lincoln College of Technology

(West Orange, NJ – September 4, 2012): As of September 1, 2012, Nashville Auto-Diesel College (NADC) officially changed its name to Lincoln College of Technology. NADC is a member school of Lincoln Educational Services Corporation (NASDAQ: LINC), and the school is proud to be a member of the Nashville community.

“We are excited to continue the tradition of Nashville Auto-Diesel College,” says Shaun McAlmont, President and CEO of Lincoln Educational Services.  “This name change recognizes Lincoln’s growing national presence while maintaining commitment to providing outstanding career training to Nashville and the surrounding communities. We look forward to helping the next generation of Lincoln students train for careers in the automotive industry.”

Lincoln will commemorate the renaming with an event on Saturday, September 8, 2012, featuring a custom car show that will be filmed by Masters Entertainment, producers of the Performance TV and Lokar Car Show TV series.

The 16-acre Nashville Campus of Lincoln College of Technology will continue to offer Automotive Technology, Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology, Diesel and Truck Technology and High Performance career training programs. The college also offers an Associate of Occupational Studies degree. The site also features housing facilities for students: since its inception in 1919, the school has attracted students from all 50 states and over 60 foreign countries.

“President Truman gave NADC a global presence when he chose it to be part of his ‘Point Four’ training initiative,” says Lincoln Group President Steve Buchenot.  “We’ve always kept our focus on the needs of our individual students, and we encourage each of them to work hard in obtaining their career goals.”

Lincoln’s Nashville campus is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges, ACCSC. ACCSC is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education. The school is also approved by the Tennessee Higher Education Committee for the training of Veteran, eligible person and non-veterans; Automotive Service Excellence (ASE); National Automotive Technician Education Foundation (NATEF); and Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR).
