Amna K. Boheim, author of The Silent Children, has been awarded the silver medal for best suspense/ thriller.

Amna K. Boheim's supernatural mystery has been awarded the silver medal in the best suspense/ thriller category in the 2016 Independent Publisher Book Awards. Speaking about her recent success, Amna explained, "Its great to be a part of something like this and have my book recognised."

In a tale of tragedy and revenge, The Silent Children brings together characters who harbour secrets they'd rather forget. But theres one secret in particular that will forever shadow them, culminating in a shocking twist.

Amna, who currently resides in Cobham, Surrey, embarked on two Faber Academy writing course, including the six month Faber Academy Writing a Novel course. The Silent Children is her debut novel. "I hope the book will appeal to readers who like a good mystery, who like supernatural elements and like the weaving together of past and present," adds Amna.
