THERMOCABLE SHOWS WHY IT IS A WORLD LEADER AT FIREX
With a 45-year heritage of research, investment and planned development, Thermocable Flexible Elements is a world leader in linear heat detection systems. This Yorkshire-based company is exceptional by being able to provide both digital and analogue linear heat detection options and it is one of the world’s largest and most experienced providers of such technologies.
UK developed, manufactured and exported worldwide, Thermocable’s cable-based detectors – ProReact Digital, ProReact Analogue and ProReact Linear Rate-of-Change – will be on show at Firex. They provide benefits as unique as customers’ own particular heat detection requirements. The product range is innovative, responsive and well-established, and accredited with all relevant international product approvals – for both analogue and digital systems.
Early detection of abnormal changes in temperature-sensitive environments is crucial, and this range gives extensive and continuous coverage, fully integrating with existing building management systems. Through continual product development and innovation every aspect has been covered, and it is one of the reasons Thermocable is a world leader in this type of technology.
ProReact Digital Linear Heat Detection Cable is simple to install and reliable in challenging environments (eg with dust and noise) as it only responds to an overheat condition, and connects directly to fire alarm control panels or building management systems.
ProReact Analogue Linear Heat Detection continuously responds to temperature changes, is incredibly flexible and can be reset many times, making it extremely cost-effective, with full UL 521 approval.
ProReact ATEX/IECEx Linear Rate-of-Change is widely used for LNG leak detection by responding to rapid changes in temperature and is sensitive, robust and automatically calibrating. It is also self-restoring after an incident.
