Thule’s very own Thule Adventure Team will compete in this year’s Trail Running event at the European Outdoor Fair in Friedrichshafen, Germany. The course is laid out on the exhibition grounds at the fair and according to the organizers, the race will determine who ‘Europe’s fastest trail runner’ is.

Trail running is fast becoming a sport in its own right, taking advantage of an ever increasing global interest in finding new ways of spending more time outdoors. In an effort to spread the word about trail running, the organisers of this year’s European Outdoor Fair will host a race for the title of fastest trail runner in Europe.

“It’s great that members from Thule Adventure Team get to show some of their skills in this fun event”, says Tina Liselius, Sponsorship and Event Manager Thule Group. “And being competitive by nature, I know that they will go for the title.”

Representing Thule Adventure Team in the race will be Martin Flinta, Myriam ‘Mimmi’ Guillot and Jacky Boisset – all among the world’s most renowned and best multisport athletes.

The short and tricky race is for everyone visiting or exhibiting at the European Outdoor Fair. Qualification rounds are held on Friday and Saturday, July 11-12, at 11 a.m., with the big finale on Saturday, July 13th, at 6-7 p.m.
