Thule EasyFold 931 selected Winner as the best bike carrier in Austria’s ÖAMTC bike carrier Test 2014
Once again, the Thule EasyFold foldable bike carrier has been chosen best in an independent test. In this year’s bike carrier test by Austria’s largest motor organization ÖAMTC the Thule EasyFold carrier again proves its leading position in the market. The jury was especially impressed by the high safety standards, best scores in the crash test, easy handling and the unique and innovative holding fixture with torque limitation.
The Austrian car, motorbike and touring club ÖAMTC is the country’s largest automobile association with about two million members. Just in time for summer, ÖAMTC´s experts tested several bike carriers where the Thule EasyFold was voted test winner.
The Thule EasyFold bike carrier convinced the jury by the very well thought through design and construction. One smart function that the jury highlighted on the Thule EasyFold torque limiter built in to the frame holder that minimize the risk of damaging the bike.
The Jury was also very impressed with the safety of the carrier and stated that the Thule EasyFold offers the best safety in comparison to other tested bike carriers, not only in the city crash testing but also the evasive manoeuvers test.

Thule EasyFold was also selected as the best bike carrier also in Denmark
Thule EasyFold has also been selected the best bike carrier by the Danish equivalent to ÖAMTC. The Danish motor organization FDM www.fdm.dk selected Thule EasyFold as the best bike carrier in the yearly bike carrier test, published in the July / August edition of their membership magazine.
