Thule Well Represented at the Danish Adventure Film Festival
The mission of the Danish Adventure Film Festival (D.A.F.F.) is to present the best and most inspiring adventure-movies on big screen for the Danish audience. At this year’s festival, Thule is represented with the bicycle film “The Way I Role” as well as Thule Crew members Garrett McNamara´s ‘Nazaré calling’ and Matthias Giraud´s film ‘Time’. D.A.F.F. opens November 28 at Cinemateket in Copenhagen.
The broad selection of very different movies at D.A.F.F. makes it a festival both for the adventure enthusiast, the film lover, parent and teenager. D.A.F.F. is for everyone who loves and is fascinated by the relationship between man, nature and adventure.
At this year’s festival,Thule is represented with the bike movie “The Way I Role”, produced by famous film maker, Peter Sutherland. The Way I Roll is a documentary series of short films which follows six different cycling enthusiasts and depicts their passion for bikes with everything from BMX to downhill and Alleycat racing.
Visitors to D.A.F.F can also watch Thule Crew members Garrett McNamara and Matthias Giraud in their movies:
- Nazaré Calling focuses on the preparations and execution of Garrett McNamara’s world record breaking big wave surf at Nazaré in Portugal. This film is also a love story between nature and the environment.
- Time is an extreme sport film by French film makers, PVS, in which Thule Crew BASE jumper and big mountain skier, Matthias Giraud, stars.
The 2013 D.A.F.F. festival will take place in the cities of Copenhagen, Aarhus, Aalborg, Odense and Kolding with its first stop in Copenhagen on November 28.
