Tieto launches new service to industrialise IT and speed up digitalization
Tieto today announced the launch of a new cloud service platform and way of deploying applications and services for end users. Tieto Enterprise Cloud Orchestrator (TECO) enables companies and organizations to significantly reduce the time needed to deploy new services while at the same time cutting costs by 20 per cent. The highly automated solution has been developed together with leading Nordic enterprises.
Tieto Enterprise Cloud Orchestrator automates end-to-end application lifecycle management and deployment of infrastructure and platforms that helps enterprises and organisations to industrialize their IT and transform their processes to digitalize and accelerate their business. It gives companies the ability to innovate and deploy new digital products and services in a much faster and more agile way.

Saving time and money - launching new services in minutes instead of months via self-service
The new service makes it possible to integrate legacy systems and cloud in an optimized way. Based on open, standard APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) TECO lets the customer make use of applications already available in the cloud ecosystem. Through a self-service portal the customer can order, control and follow their deployed business architectures in real-time, making new applications and updates available for end users in an instant. Development processes that used to take weeks or even months can now be automated and executed in minutes.
Early TECO customer cases have shown a 40 percent level of improved process efficiency in development, and an average decrease of 20 percent in ICT costs due to increased automation. Tieto Enterprise Cloud Orchestrator has been developed in close dialogue with leading Nordic enterprises.
TECO is an addition to Tieto's growing portfolio of digitalisation and cloud services. Cloud business is the fastest growing area in Tieto, and by 2020, around 80 percent of Managed Services is expected to derive from cloud. Tieto is the largest cloud service provider in the Nordic countries.
