Tieto’s renewal continues – moves head office to Keilaniemi, Espoo
Tieto aims to further enhance its employee experience through a new, collaborative head office and is moving to Keilaniemi starting late 2016.
In recent years, Tieto has renewed its services and competences to be the preferred digitalization partner for its customers. The next important milestone in Tieto’s renewal journey is to enhance its employee experience and open culture by moving the company’s head office to the West Coast Business Campus in Keilaniemi, Espoo from Lassila, Helsinki. Tieto’s long-term goal is to have all of Tieto’s capital region employees located in the Keilaniemi site.
“Alongside with renewing its competencies, Tieto has been building an open, collaborative and non-hierarchical company culture. To enable our culture of innovations and start-up attitude to flourish, we started to look for suitable premises for a new head office,” states Katariina Kravi, Head of HR at Tieto.
The office spaces in Keilaniemi are designed for efficient and flexible ways of working, with open spaces, co-creative areas and innovation hubs adding to the employee experience and innovation.

The move to Keilaniemi is planned to take place in stages, starting during the fourth quarter of 2016. As Tieto’s rental agreement in Kilo, Espoo, ends in December 2016, the move has both logistical and financial benefits as well.
