Tieto signs agreement with global oil services giant Technip
Tieto has been awarded a contract with Technip, a world leader in project management, engineering and construction for the energy industry, to implement a new document management solution across its global Subsea business segment.
The agreement will further support standardization of Technip’s document management processes using Tieto’s ProArc solution.

The most important outcome for this agreement is to see standardization of software solution across the entities in Technip’s North Sea Canada (NSC) region where the deployment will begin - this includes Technip’s UK, Norway and Canada offices – yet recognizing that some degree of flexibility is essential.
ProArc has out-of-the-box functionalities, built-in flexibility, and a proven track record in delivering this type of project.
Through award of this new contract with Technip, Tieto is reinforcing its strong position within the oil and gas industry.
