Tieto to deliver turnkey IT services to Praktikertjänst
Tieto has signed a deal to deliver IT services to Praktikertjänst, Sweden’s largest provider of private healthcare and dental care. The contract is for five years with an option to extend it for an additional two years. Total contract value is SEK 62 million (EUR 6,7 million), part of which will go to Tieto’s subcontractor for hardware supply.
The agreement means that Tieto will deliver comprehensive IT services, from server management to work place support, which will help Praktikertjänst focus on its core business and improve daily operations for the company’s 9000 employees.

Praktikertjänst has several different IT providers but the deal with Tieto enables the company to gather together all services and receive IT support throughout the country. The deal also creates possibilities for an expanded partnership in the future where Praktikertjänst can get access to Tieto’s IT support for the different processes within healthcare, Lifecare.

Praktikertjänst is Sweden’s largest group within private dental-, health- and medical care.
