Kalmar Industries outsources IT infrastructure operations to TietoEnator TietoEnator has signed an agreement with Kalmar Industries, a Partek company, concerning the transfer of Kalmar Industries' IT infrastructure operations and maintenance functions in the Nordic Countries to TietoEnator. The general objective of the agreement is to follow the downstream strategy of Kalmar Industries for releasing the capital from non- business related activities for investing in the core business activities. The target is to reach a long-term partnership between Kalmar Industries and TietoEnator. - TietoEnator follows the development of technical solutions and can improve the services Kalmar Industries needs for its business. As a result of this we will get continuous productivity improvement and increased cost-efficiency of the total IT infrastructure operations, says Vice President Finance, CFO Roger Jehander from Kalmar Industries. The outsourced services consist of IT operations and maintenance, on- site assistance, help desk functions and management for existing infrastructure in Kalmar LMV, Ljungby and Lindhult plants in Sweden and in Tampere plant in Finland. Services will be implemented and developed further based on TietoEnator´s TotalPro service concept. - This agreement makes it possible for us to deepen our cooperation in Nordic level with Kalmar Industries.
