SanomaWSOY's to transfer its payroll management to TietoEnator Under an agreement signed with TietoEnator Corporation, SanomaWSOY has agreed to outsource the Group's payroll management, with the exception of Rautakirja, to TietoEnator Applications as a business transfer as of February 1, 2001. The agreement is a strategically and financially important one for both parties. For SanomaWSOY, bringing its payroll management under a single umbrella will yield enhanced efficiency and cost control. For TietoEnator Applications, the agreement will further strengthen the company's core payroll and personnel administration business, in which it is the market leader in the Nordic region. TietoEnator Applications' payroll and personnel administration systems offer customers comprehensive solutions to their everyday management needs. Under the agreement with SanomaWSOY, TietoEnator will modernise SanomaWSOY's payroll and personnel administration systems using its Tieto Persona software. The agreement covers a total of 18 people in the SanomaWSOY organisation, who will transfer to TietoEnator under their current terms of employment. The agreement will cover some 11,000 salary transactions a month.
