SLU chose TietoEnator's consultant services for their breadth and depth The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) has for the first time carried out a procurement of consultant services by means of a general agreement. SLU has a great need of consultant services and chose TietoEnator as one of four general agreement suppliers due to the company's breadth and depth. The consultant assignments comprising the general agreement include everything from IT and ADP consultants to finance, PA, organizational and management consultants and the general agreement runs from 1 January 2000 to 31 December 2001. There are several reasons why SLU has now carried out a procurement by means of a general agreement. - Within our organization there is a great need of consultant services and we now considered that it was time to take a firm grasp on the procurement of these services. A great advantage of carrying out a procurement by means of a general agreement is knowing what one gets and that everything is regulated in the agreement. In addition, we establish closer contacts with our suppliers and this means that they learn more about us and can do a better job, says Thérèse Agehed, deputy director and responsible for the procurement at SLU.
