The Swedish energy Group Sydkraft renews its agreement with TietoEnator The Swedish energy Group Sydkraft renews its agreement after two years of utilization of TietoEnator's project management method, PPS (Practical Project Management). PPS is based on more than fifteen years experience of project work and is today established as one of the leading methods for the control and handling of projects. The new agreement with Sydkraft includes, as previously, the right to utilize PPS in the organization via PPS OnLine licences, services related to the method as well as training. - In the beginning, we chose PPS since the method is simple and easy to take in. A great advantage is the IT support PPS OnLine that we installed on our intranet. This makes PPS more available and makes it possible for the project managers to use the method. Thanks to the maintenance agreement we can continually participate in the updates made by TietoEnator in the further development of the method. PPS is a well- tried concept with well-thought-out routines and templates, says Christer Eriksson, IT coordinator at Sydkraft. PPS has strengthened the project maturity in many companies and organizations, both in Sweden and abroad. The method provides a way of working for the control and handling of projects and can be used for everything from small individual projects to multi-project management. - The greatest strength of PPS is that it is a complete and practical concept where we offer both training, IT support, various other services and help with the introduction of the method in the customer's organization.
