TietoEnator acquires Novo's library business Under an agreement signed today, TietoEnator has acquired the library business operations of Novo Extend Ltd., a subsidiary of the Novo Group. Through the acquisition, the Primas library system, its support services and two employees will be taken over by TietoEnator as of 1 January 2002. However, Novo will continue to provide operation services for the library system. The library business unit of Novo Extend has 97 client municipalities around Finland. The acquisition strengthens TietoEnator's position as the leading provider of library information systems in Finland. - Looking at the lifecycle of the Primas library system, it is evident that the solution will have to be revised in the next few years.
