TietoEnator and Finnair develop paperless travelling TietoEnator and Finnair have built a paperless travel administration system. As a result, users of TietoEnator's TietoPersona Travel system, which is a leading travel management system in Scandinavia, can now integrate their internal travel management with Finnair's electronic MultiFLYe serial ticket system. With this new solution, MultiFLYe users can significantly improve overall efficiency in travel administration. Now it is possible to book flights, make the trip and charge the expenses electronically without hardcopy documents. Integration ensures that the entire process can be completed in a single transaction. TietoPersona provides online user and passenger profile management and instant access to the MultiFLYe Internet booking system without a special sign-on, while the itemised cost data for the expense report can be retrieved automatically after the trip for further processing by the corporate travel administration system. At the moment, MultiFLYe is available for all flights within Finland and to Stockholm. The service will soon be extended to include the major cities in other neighbouring countries as well. Finnair's and TietoEnator's goal is to create a partnership for developing electronic travel services. A number of projects are currently going on with the aim of working out a framework for continued co-operation.
