TietoEnator and Upplands Bro municipality sign outsourcing agreement TietoEnator and Upplands Bro municipality have signed an outsourcing agreement that will allow TietoEnator to take over responsibility for Upplands Bro's IT operations. The agreement is for a three-year period, with the option of a further two years. This business deal is another step towards achieving TietoEnator's objective of building partnerships within the municipal sector. Upplands Bro's choice of TietoEnator as their IT partner means that TietoEnator Processing & Network will take responsibility for server operations, customer support, PC/LAN support and consulting. The agreement includes an extensive joint standardisation project, the main aim being to further rationalise Upplands Bro's operations and support activities. -The decision to outsource our IT operations was strategically important and one that will mean the effectivisation and rationalisation of our IT environment.
