TietoEnator and WSOY to co-operate in producing e-learning services

TietoEnator and WSOY to co-operate in producing e-learning services TietoEnator Ltd and WSOY have signed a co-operation agreement concerning internet based learning services. The aim is to enhance the development of the business in the European area in addition to Finnish and Swedish markets. Starting point for co-operation is the development of e-learning services in the Special Publications division. With this co-operation TietoEnator strengthens its e-learning business area as an IT service provider as well as an information integrator. WSOY will add on its vast content material and build up its traditional knowledge as a content producer. WSOY will also be responsible for the marketing and distribution of its products. The responsibility of TietoEnator is to provide IT services and offer supplementary e-learning products and services related to information distribution on the Internet such as user management, customer management and Internet invoicing. TietoEnator will also utilize its existing products in the areas of human resources and knowledge asset management. TietoEnator is a leading builder of the information society in Europe with a strong understanding of refining information and supporting services. TietoEnator co-operates with several renowned information and content providers developing both its own Internet services and the portals of its customers by integrating information contents and managing the distribution of the information.
