TietoEnator enters Czech market in Telecom TietoEnator enters the Czech IT market by founding a new joint venture company together with the owners of ISS Czech s.r.o. The business of the new company called TietoEnator ISS a.s. is based on the IT related business of ISS Czech. The new company will provide high value-added IT services to Telecom operators. The deal includes an agreement under which TietoEnator will acquire 100 % of TietoEnator ISS in the future. Last year ISS Czech had a turnover of approximately 100 million CZK (EUR 2.9 million). The company has 95 employees. Telecom is one of TietoEnator´s areas of focus on a global level. By joining forces with an already well-established local company TietoEnator will enter the Czech market and strengthen its position on the Telecom related IT market in Central Europe.
