TietoEnator introduces a next generation net banking solution Finance Portal TietoEnator has published a next generation net banking solution Finance Portal. Finance Portal, which differs from the first generation solutions in many ways, is developed for the international financial markets. The most significant new feature is personalisation. The customer, private or corporate, can customize this portal to manage his financial services. The service provider, e.g. a bank, can provide personal, profiled services and news to its customers. This system offers financial institutions an opportunity to build mobile and Internet banking services on top of the core banking systems currently in place. This solution originates from the world's leading Internet bank, Nordea's Solo, and its more sophisticated version, the Next Generation Solo, developed by TietoEnator. The Nordic banks have long been the pioneers in self-services, the customers have adopted the net services in a very large extent. This is mainly due to the structural changes in the banking field and a similar development is seen in the Central European financial market as well. TietoEnator's first aim is to bring its Mobile and Internet Banking Solution to Central Europe and once that is accomplished, it will then set its sights on the global market.
