TietoEnator signs IT partnership agreement with VVO Corporation VVO Corporation has signed an agreement with TietoEnator on IT partnership that aims at mutually beneficial long-term co-operation in the field of information technology. According to IT Director Arto Tuominen, the main focus in the development of VVO's IT systems will be on the utilisation of web technology. One of the ideas that is currently being studied is a portal intended for all stakeholder groups. The first practical implementation of the partnership between TietoEnator and the VVO Corporation is the delivery of the Elegansplus Customer Relationship Management and Invoicing System to VVO-sähkö Oy, a company that supplies electricity to VVO properties and housing units on a centralised basis, to replace the existing system that has been used for a couple of years. "We selected the Elegansplus application because of its flexibility and suitability for this environment. What is more, it is easy to integrate with the other existing IT systems," says Arto Tuominen. "Another selection criterion was that by deploying Elegansplus VVO did not have to implement euro conversion in the old system." Elegansplus will in future enable customer service and online transactions, for example over the Internet.
