TietoEnator will provide new solutions for improved efficiency and cooperation in healthcare TietoEnator's comprehensive solution for primary and special health care, Effica, has been significantly expanded: it now includes, for example, SMS services, a picture archive and a solution for transferring digital images and patient data files between different organizations. The latest breakthrough is the integration of Finnish speech recognition into Effica in primary health care. This solution will be piloted at the Haukiputaa Health Center at the end of September. The Finnish speech recognition solution is a result of cooperation between TietoEnator, Philips Speech Processing and Konttorityö Oy, as TietoEnator has integrated the Philips SpeechMagic software into Effica. This kind of a speech recognition system that covers the entire primary health care sector has never been implemented anywhere else in the world.
