TietoEVRY continues to develop the Suomi.fi services with the Digital and Population Data Services Agency
The Digital and Population Data Services Agency (DVV) has chosen TietoEVRY as one of their partners in the continuing process of developing and maintaining public digital services. The aim is to develop more flexible services for the public, for businesses and the public administration. The new agreement is related to the development of the Suomi.fi mobile services.
TietoEVRY is a long-time partner of the Digital and Population Data Services Agency (DVV) in developing technical support for public online services. In the latest co-operation project, TietoEVRY’s experts continue to develop everyday digital services that are important to citizens and businesses.
The agreement covers the development of mobile application services and various IT services as necessary, as well as tasks related to the design, management, implementation, introduction, further development, and maintenance of information systems. The contract period is five years and includes options for employing additional personnel resources.
“We are pleased to continue to cooperate with our reliable, long-time partner. We strive to be forerunners in developing the government’s mobile services. People are increasingly using mobile services, and smooth digital services that are easy to use benefit citizens, in particular, as well as businesses and other organisations,” says Mira Holmroos-Kolari, CIO at DVV.
“It is important for us that we can make everyday life easier and enhance the use of digital services. The pandemic has shown that digital services are of great importance to the smooth functioning of our society. We find it exciting to work together in shaping first class mobile services using latest technologies and our extensive expertise,” says Jani Hyvärinen, Customer Executive at TietoEVRY.
The Suomi.fi services are among the most important services provided by the Digital and Population Data Services Agency, as they allow organisations to provide better digital services and make their information and offerings available to the users in an efficient and dependable way. Among other things, the services provide solutions for digital identification, acting on behalf of others, and digital communications.
