Tietoevry and UPM announce the renewal of their strategic IT partnership, covering a comprehensive range of next gen application services. The collaboration agreement has been renewed for five years, with an option of a further one-year extension.

By partnering with Tietoevry in IT, UPM benefits from assured business continuity, AI-driven innovation, increased productivity, cost optimization, comprehensive support and access to leading technologies.

Under the renewed collaboration, Tietoevry will provide various services, including application management and development, automation and AI, application development capabilities, DevOps team as a service, as well as TIPS Industry Solutions and Services, a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for several UPM business areas.

UPM chose Tietoevry for its strong capabilities and expertise in the forest industry, which ensures business continuity and smooth digital development.
