Tikkurila and Isku to collaborate in furniture stores

Finnish furniture manufacturer Isku Koti Oy is currently in the process of revamping its stores across Finland. The refurbishment project came about as a result of Isku's partnership with kitchen
manufacturer Novart, which was announced in April. The agreement will bring Novart’s "Keittiömaailma" kitchen showrooms as well as Tikkurila Oyj's interior decoration materials to all Isku stores In Finland.

In conjunction with this major project, a 63m2 model home comprising three rooms and a kitchen will be constructed in each Isku store. The model homes give customers the opportunity to see Isku furniture in a true-scale setting as part of real home decor. One key component of the model
home is the colour palette of internal surfaces and the use of colours to complement the furniture. The interior decor of the model homes will be done using a combination of the products of Isku, Keittiömaailma and Tikkurila. The design will change twice a year according to the latest trends.

Tikkurila products can be seen on showroom walls, some as striking effects and others as more conventional painted surfaces. The walls are decorated using Tunto Paintable Textured Wallpapers and paint products including the Taika Pearl Paint and Pearl Glazes, Tunto Stone, Harmony, Joker
and Luja. The product names and colour codes are displayed on small signs on the walls. Tikkurila guidebooks and brochures will also be available in the showrooms.

As a result of this collaboration, consumers who are looking to redecorate their homes or planning a refurbishment project now have the opportunity to see Tikkurila's inspiring specialist products outside
conventional hardware stores. The well maintained and high-quality stores of Isku Koti provide an excellent platform for engaging customers. What’s more, the well-renowned Finnish brands of Isku and Tikkurila complement each other very well.

Revamped stores have already opened in Lahti, Espoo, Tampere, Jyväskylä and Joensuu. Renovation works are being carried out one store at a time, and all 22 Isku stores in Finland will be re-opened with a new look by the end of the summer.
